When operating, winding the hex nut expands the drive, using mechanical screw power to remove or install the bearings. The force from operation is equally distributed during expansion, which leaves the bearing and bearing housing damage free. The set includes: driving shaft and extension, expander unit, 5 Split driving plugs, 2 Driving washers, and a centering cone. The centering cone is used to provide bearing guidance and protection.
